GO Discover is TomTom’s smartest, fastest, and most advanced satellite navigation device ever. If you’re tired of using Google Maps for navigation and staring at your smartphone’s tiny screen, TomTom offers you an alternative. GO Discover makes life more convenient and makes living easier.
GPS, compass, and antennas on the device are more reliable than those on smartphones. It also has perfectly prepared software, and the advanced connectivity we expect from such a device. Currently, the TomTom Go Discover comes in three sizes 5-inch, 6-inch, and 7-inch model.
But is it worth buying? In this article, I’m going to review the 7-inch TomTom GO Discover GPS device, which is the newest and largest model.

In all respects, the TomTom GO Discover (the 7-inch model) is better than its predecessors, but it is still very heavy, chubby, and big.
The 7-inch Go Discover comes with a 1,280 x 800 resolution screen. However, it still isn’t as bright or as sharp as a smartphone, but it has excellent contrast and an anti-reflection coating. It is one of the best satnav screens I have used for navigating by turn-by-turn instructions, maps, and selecting items.
On the front, we’ll get just the screen and the TomTom logo while on the back, we find the on/off button on the upper side. In the lower central part is the USB connector, as well as a bracket for mounting the USB adapter.
Overall, the Go Discover is very well built. With the magnetic mount, you can easily snap the device in and out of the suction cup.
TomTom GO Discover is easy to set up and has basic features. With the easy setup, you can easily connect to WiFi, connect to your smartphone, and set up your preferences.
In the device, there is an information feature for parking and fuel prices that lets you see which car parks are available and which are filling up before you arrive. By clicking on the options tab in the search box, you can also access more categories, such as hotels, shopping centers, cash machines, and tourist attractions.
This app does an excellent job of helping you discover what’s around you if its point is to help you discover what’s around you.
If you want to control your satnav with your voice, then using a smartphone may make more sense. You just have to make sure you have a cellular connection in order to use all the features and stay on track.
The device also has a built-in 5GHz WiFi band, which TomTom claims boosts map updates by three times faster. The device comes with other features, including speed camera alerts and TomTom traffic, which are pretty self-explanatory.
TomTom Go Discover 7-inch offers great screen quality, clear sound, and a simple but effective user interface. The voice instructions and visual maps work well together and it’s fast and responsive. GO Discover is available on Amazon – BUY NOW
